They are awarded to current AU undergraduate students who have successfully completed (passed) a 3 credit science course, in which travel to complete lab work occurred between October 16, of the previous year and October 15, of the current year. Successful completion of the science course is required.

Preference will be given to those students that have never received an undergraduate lab travel award. Students traveling for LABB 207 who have successfully completed BIOL 204 and/or BIOL 205 are eligible to apply for this award.
